The Judicial Institute of Jordan Journal for Judicial and Legal Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Judicial Institute of Jordan. Established in [2025], the journal serves as a specialized platform dedicated to advancing legal scholarship and supporting the development of the judicial system both nationally and regionally.

 

The journal publishes specialized research and studies in various branches of law, judiciary, and legislation, both locally and internationally, with a focus on contemporary issues and legal transformations in Jordan and the Arab world. It welcomes scholarly contributions from judges, academics, lawyers, graduate students, and legal researchers, adhering to strict academic standards that ensure the quality and reliability of the published material.

 

As an integral part of the Judicial Institute’s mission, the journal plays a key role in judicial training and education, providing valuable research and practical content that enhances the analytical and legislative competencies of judges and supports ongoing professional development.

 

The journal also contributes to the assessment and reform of national legislation, offering scientifically grounded insights and recommendations to assist policymakers in strengthening Jordan’s legal and justice frameworks.

According to Article (4) of its regulations, the Journal aims to:

 

1.          Publish peer-reviewed judicial and legal research and studies of high scientific and practical value, in accordance with the publishing requirements specified in the appendix to these regulations.

 

2.          Highlight the intellectual efforts and scholarly and practical contributions in the fields of law, judiciary, and justice developed within the Judicial Institute of Jordan.

 

3.          Address legal and judicial issues at the local, Arab, and international levels, while keeping pace with contemporary developments in these areas.

 

4.          Foster a spirit of scientific research and encourage studies in legal and judicial fields aimed at continuous improvement and sustainable development.

 

5.          Create an enabling environment that nurtures intellectual creativity in legal and judicial matters.

 

6.          Publish international studies and research in partnership with global academic journals.

 

7.          Publish comparative working papers by judges participating in academic events, research papers by Judicial Institute students approved for publication, as well as studies by judges and jurisprudence from the General Assembly of the Court of Cassation.

 

8.          Publish comparative research and studies that provide a comprehensive perspective on Jordanian, Arab, and international legal and judicial thought
